For anyone who's been keeping up with the latest season of Jersey Shore, you know that Snooki has been seriously dedicating herself to losing weight. She's been eating better, working out all the time, and even switched over from margaritas to vodka (we're so proud). And it looked like all the hard work was paying off since she's gradually started to slim down throughout this past year. But it looks like healthy eating and exercise don't deserve all of the credit for this newer (and thinner) version of Snooki. The reality star took to Twitter this week to reveal that she's been taking diet pills called Zantrex along with the hormone HCG and that's what's been helping her develop her current figure. She credits the diet pill by stating, "Glad to hear reports that say I look good =) but it's not because of HCG! Thanks @Zantrex!" The pills burn fat, abd are also favored by Britney Spears.

Side effects of Zantrex can include palpitations, anxiety, cold sweats, nausea, diarrhea, increased heart rate and irritability. Sounds like a lot to risk just to lose a little weight. I mean, she looks great and even though her orange complexion looks a little more attractive with this new physique, did she have to resort to pills? A lot of them turn out to be bad news, so I kinda wish she had just stuck to working out and eating right. Let's just hope she's not going to take it too far. I don't want to lose the little meatball we've grown to love.
