It Girl FOTD

Hellur,

Recently, I've come to a realization that my life is getting weirder and weirder since I became a beauty blogger. I cannot just step out of the house like a normal person with no makeup. It feels naked. I have to put something on, preferably something that makes me look like a drag queen, and parade around town. My concept of "neutral makeup" is the smokey eyes with neutral-looking colors!

This is my effort to look toned down and less drag queen-ish for a day. Needless to say, I failed. The look is quite nice and simple but I felt naked. So I put a pair of false eyelashes on! You see what I mean now?

Anyways, let us go on with the show:

It Girl FOTD
This is officially my first look with my new hair. It feels really strange. Now that I have short hair, playing up my eyes is the way to go. All products used in this post are Formula D Minerals', unless otherwise noted.

Stuff I used:

Eyes: ELF eyelid primer, Formula D Minerals eyeshadows in It Girl, Serenity, Kaleidoscope, and Daisy, Wet n Wild Idol Eyes shadow stick in Pixie, ELF waterproof eyeliner, CoverGirl LashBlast fusion

Face: The Ultimate Powder, mineral foundation, Radiance blush, MAC Studio Sculpt concealer NW20

Lips: Rimmel London lipstick in Vintage and Victoria's Secret lipgloss in Blushed

Brushes: ELF Studio powder brush, crease brush, ELF Professional blending brush and eyeshadow brush

Eyes

Open eye

  • Apply a coat of ELF eyelid primer on each eye, wait for it to completely dry. Otherwise, the stuff will peel.
  • Using the eyeshadow brush, apply It Girl to the eyelid area
  • With the crease brush, apply Serenity to the outer-v area and blend it inward.
  • Using the blending brush, blend Serenity to the crease area but not all the way in

Concentrate Serenity on the outer-v area and the crease

  • Use the blending brush to apply Kaleidoscope as a highlighter, blending it with Serenity. This is really strange because your whole eyes are covered in various shades of pink but believe me, it looks really cute.
  • Use the crease brush to apply Daisy to the inner corner of your eyes.
  • Apply Pixie to the lower lash line and the waterproof eyeliner to the upper lashes.
  • Apply 2 coats of mascara and you're done.
Another look at the eye
Face
  • Apply The Ultimate Powder as a face primer, using the powder brush
  • Then, apply your mineral foundation, using the same brush
  • Conceal your blemishes and set the foundation with The Ultimate Powder, using the same brush (I'm trying not to use too many brushes to save me some cleaning time.)
  • Apply Radiance blush with a blush brush (not shown)
Lips
  • Apply Vintage to your lips and top it off with Blushed

This is pink overload. Surprisingly, you can see the colors on my eyes a lot better here
Big Bow has to make another cameo :)
Wait, don't go yet! Here's the special:
