Absolut VodkaTasting session at View Rooftop Bar, G Tower

I am not a very good drinker but I do enjoy cocktails! I was excited to attend my first Cocktail tasting session at View Rooftop Bar 2 weeks ago. Well I found out that this new bar was only launched back in June only !! A new bar in KL!

View Rooftop Bar is situated at Level 29 , which is the rooftop of G Tower. It has a breathtaking night view of Kuala Lumpur city center. You can enjoy sitting here enjoying the view while sipping your cocktail!

Or if you prefer sofas, then you can go into the bar and take a seat and enjoy the shinny stars of the ceiling of View Rooftop Bar

The highlight of the event is the cocktail demonstration.


This bar will be using only ABSOLUT vodka which is their in house brand!

This is Rizal Junior the Bar Manager and Head of Mixologist of VIEW Rooftop Bar who will be doing some demo on how to create cocktails.

I googled about him and found that he was one of the winner of the Cocktail World Cup World Championship 2008 ! WOW ... impressive!

He shake left and right to make it right!

And when he pours into the glass, everyone busy snapping pictures ! haha bloogers being bloggers!

Absolut Strawberry Basil Smash
50ml Absolut
4 fresh strawberries
6 basil leaves
100ml lemon juice

Absolut South Beach
50ml Absolut
25ml Lemon juice
20ml Sugar Syrup
8 Mint Leaves

Absolut Passion Tini
50ml Absolut
30ml Passion fruit
20ml Lemon juice
15ml Vanila Syrup

50ml Absolute
Half green apple
15ml sugar syrup
15ml lemon JC
A Pinch of Cinnamon powder

Absolut Apple Rosemary Martini
50ml Absolute
Half Green Apple
15ml Rosemary Sugar Syrup
15ml Lemon JC
1 Stalk rosemary leaves

50ml Absolut
15ml Cardamon sugar syrup
50ml Pineapple JC
3 pieces of Cardamon seeds

Cardamon seeds is also known as curry seeds gives the cocktail unique slightly sweet and savory flavour

And among all the cocktails, I love Absolut Pineapple Cardamon because it has the pineapple sweetness in it as personally I do not like sour drink.

There is a free flow of food

And of course cocktails at the bar !

See who was busy drinking ? It's my boy enjoying himself! He said these cocktail drinks have unique taste and well blended with Absolut Vodka.
