Director Samuel Bennetts Lands First Stateside Representation, Joins ACNE ... - SHOOT Online

VENICE, Calif., September 20, 2011, --- Australian director Samuel Bennetts, who continues to direct Down Under via Plaza Films, has secured his first stateside representation, coming aboard the U.S. roster of ACNE Production.
     Plans call for Bennetts to relocate to Los Angeles in the coming months. He has recently wrapped a Plaza-produced Commonwealth Bank job shot in Australia for Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, San Francisco.
     Bennetts, who is also repped in the U.K. market by Dab Hand Media, has much international work to his credit, including Aussie assignments for such major brands as Volkswagen, McDonald's and Canon.
     Fran McGivern, managing director/executive producer of the ACNE Production U.S. operation, cited Bennetts' strong storytelling and penchant for seamless visual effects as making him "the perfect fit for our integrated roster."
     ACNE Production recently moved its U.S. digs to the "Green Loft" building on Rose Ave. in Venice, Calif.
