STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Islanders are being asked to go from "Flab 2 Fab" during the fourth season of a weight loss contest held at Intoxx Fitness, Richmond Valley.

The contest mimics the hit NBC reality show "The Biggest Loser" and registration will take place tomorrow and Thursday from 8 to 9 p.m. at Intoxx, 236 Richmond Valley Rd. To qualify for the contest, participants must have more than 30 percent body fat.

With "Flab 2 Fab," contestants participate in two one-hour training sessions each week for three months, and are helped in their weight loss journey by four trainers. The finale will be held in January for contestants and their family members, and prizes, trophies and makeovers will be awarded.
