Do you consider yourself a reader?

When I saw this posted on From Chalkboards to Strollers blog, I just had to try it out. I have always considered myself to be well-read. I even went through a phase in my 20's where I tried to read as many classics as possible. Give it a try and see how you fare:

The BBC believes most people will have read only 6 of the 100 books listed here.

Instructions:

•Copy this list.

•Bold those books you’ve read in their entirety.

•Italicise the ones you started but didn’t finish or read only an excerpt.

Wow - I've only completed 24 of those 100 books! What really stands out to me is the number of books I've started but never finished.

How did you "stack" up? (Awful pun, huh?)

I need a new school bag!

I need a good school bag that will last me through my remaining two years at Uni, so I decided to check out CSN Stores as I've had positive experiences with them. As you might know from some of my previous posts, CSN Stores has over 200 online stores where you can find everything from stylish handbags, to counter height stools, or great cookware.

Here's my selection of potential school bags:

I still haven't made my mind yet, but I really love the second one...

Totally Inappropriate Greeting Cards!

I recently won a package of holiday cards from a giveaway on Mommy's Free Time. This past week, I received the cards from Totally Inappropriate Greeting Cards. I must say that these are perfect for us! My husband, upon hearing that I won the cards, immediately began making a list of who we would send them to this year.

The cards are not for everyone! They do contain bad language, so you must really think about who you send them to. I think my favorite part about these cards is the, unless you read them, they look just like any old Christmas card. And, at $12.00 for 8 cards, the price is right. Where else are you going to find funny cards like this?

Here is my favorite (WARNING: here comes some of that language!)

You can find Totally Inappropriate Greeting Cards on Etsy, Twitter, and Facebook.

Coach Signature Perfume

What do you relate to when you heard the name Coach ?

Handbags or cockroach?

Today Coach launched their first fragrance which embodies the many personalities of the Coach woman…timeless, chic and sophisticated.

The scent was described as classically inspired with a unique blend of soft florals. The topnote sparkles with tart green mandarin, guava, lush violet petals and giant waterlily. Its complex scent melds honey, orange flower, mimosa and a touch of jasmine. To further enhance the floral signature, the drydown adds a luxurious finish with smooth and supple sandalwood and amber-wood. The result is a beautifully blended fragrance that represents modern beauty, elegance and charm.

And the fragrance bottle is truly unique, featuring Coach’s signature design and lozenge that completes the whole look.

Signature EDT 50ml RM 245

For the first time I sniff it, I am quite surprise how pleasant the fresh fruity & floral smell it is! Very relaxing and not too over whelming.... And you gotta go and try this out!!!

I did not reply to my messages until monday as there was just so many and my lad wanted to a build snowmen and put the Christmas decorations up!
I did go straight on to read messages on my return at 2.30 in the morning but it would not have been fair just to answer a few and then leave the rest until Monday so i thought its best to do them all the same day.

Home Remedy Lemon And Egg Face Mask For Oily Skin.

Both the indgredients of this face mask are good for oily skin. Egg tightens the skin pores and so oil balance is maintained. Lemon is also known to reduce oiliness of the skin and also lightens skin blemishes if any.

To prepare this face mask mix egg white with a few drops of lemon juice. Apply it all over your face and neck. Leave it on for about 15 minutes. To wash off this face mask, boil lemon peels in water and allow it to cool. Do this sometime prior to applying the face mask so that by the time we have to use, it should be cool.
Wash off your face mask with this water and it acts as an astringent.
This face mask if applied regularly tightens the skin and makes it wrinkle free. It also makes the skin clear from blemishes or dark spots.

Confidence starts with Clean & Clear

Does this look familiar to you

Today Clean & Clear® have reinforced its comprehensive range for teenage woman that treats normal to top teen care skincare concerns like oily, acne prone and uneven skin toned skin.

Well for me, Clean & Clear® is one of the earliest skincare that I have used during my teenage years AGO where my skin are oily like yao char kwai (fried dough stick) and have pimples all over my face. Lucky gone are the days !!!

So when I was invited to attend Clean & Clear® media launch of their latest skincare innovation and new look of their packaging, I am curious to find out how much they have changed or improved.

Together with us at the event are Safiah, Ainaa, Jesslynn and Lien Siew who are the recent first and third prize winners of Clean & Clear® Top Best Friends Models Malaysia as the MC for the day :) They are very confident and definitely they look good here :)

And I believe today most of the teenagers today are equip with camera or at least a camera phone because it is so affordable. And that is the age where we would love to cam-whore anywhere at anytime without feeling shame . However that is also the time when our skin condition starts to change due hormone. And no one wants to looked take pictures with face looking oily and pimples popping all over the face right ? So Clean & Clear® is introducing an all-new x8 oil absorbing formula to help teens keep their skin oil-free up to 8 hours! What 8x oil absorbing formula ?? Read further!

Joyce Lee, the Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Sdn Bhd said while Clean & Clear® has always been known as the brand that boosts teenagers' confidence by helping maintain clean, noticeably clear and beautiful skin, the brand is also strongly committed to understanding teens and delivering solutions to meet their needs with the most innovative skincare technology. She further said that "Clean & Clear® understand that teenagers today love to take pictures and look good in them, therefore Clean & Clear latest oil-absorbing technology is specifically developed with oily skin concern in mind"
Clean & Clear® latest formulation contains special extract of an all-natural rice protein which has a unique structure to soak up oil from the skin like a micro-sponge all day long. It works mainly by attracting and capturing sebum (oil secretions from skin) out of skin pores 8 times faster and lasting up to 8 hours. It also contains six minerals and 18 amino acids to protect the skin from environmental damage. Its other benefits include prevention of skin irritation and promotion of water-oil balance in skin.

Mr Keshan Gunasinghe , the leading scientist from Johnson and Johnson Asia Pacific Beauty Care Research & Development said that Clean & Clear® uses 4 technologies in their products that serves different functions for various skin types, from normal skin to oily, acne-prone and uneven toned skin"

Angel Technology - a powerful pimple fighter that taps on Salicylic Acid and Active Botanical Formula to dissolve pore-clogging sebum

Triclosan - an ingredient that helps to prevent pimples and blackheads by advocating an anti-bacterial ingredient; using one of nature's richest sources of Vitamin C

Cherry Extract - works as a complexion brightener with its skin-lightening properties

8 times oil-absorbing rice protein formula - goes deep into pores to absorb oil, keeping skin oil- free for up to 8 hours

Apart from the sharing session my Mr. Keshan, Clean & Clear also invited the cheerleading team from CHARM (Cheerleading Association and Register of Malaysia) who gave an energetic performance to the audience before the event came to an end.

Goodies that I got at the end of the event

To be honest, Clean&Clear is one of the earliest skincare product I used in my teenage year, I would say they mild and work well on my skin to control oiliness and blemishes. However over the year, my skin concern has changed and I do not think I'm suitable to use it.

So should I do a giveaway to give to people who might need this ??

And we are also given an uber cute wrist bracelet pen drive :P
